About the Project
Our role was to define the CO2 footprint of the proposed new Sports Hall in order to demonstrate compliance with Part L2A and produce an EPC for the building.
We were also asked to carry out the ventilation and overheating calculations necessary to demonstrate compliance with the latest BB 101 2018 Guidelines.
A dynamic simulation model was produced using EDSL TAS software using the architectural and services information provided. From this one model we was able to calculate the carbon emissions, extent of overheating and the amount of fresh air entering the building through the opening windows.
