About the Project
Part of a development of 9 new build industrial units with office spaces, our role was to provide the Part L2 SBEM calculations, peak heating and cooling load calculations, and mechanical building services design for units 5 – 8.
To do this we created a dynamic simulation model of all 4 of the units within EDSL TAS software using the architectural information provided to us. The dynamic simulation thermal model allows us to quickly trial different mechanical services designs to choose the optimum equipment for the buildings.
The units are currently on track to receive A and very high B ratings on their final Energy Performance Certificates which we will complete towards to conclusion of the project.
